The community centre has evolved over many years with the current hall opened in 1983 and then upgraded in the early 2000's.
The centre was originally also managing the grass area behind the centre and had Judo and Table Tennis which is why we are a sports association as well as a community centre.
These days we leave the management of the field to the local council but the hall is still used by many clubs and societies including table tennis, dance, Bingo, tabletop war gaming, Slimming World and groups such as the local Brownies to name a few.
Whilst the centre is not too old in comparison to other centres we are currently in need of a lot of work due to some roof issues. Please head to Supporting Us to find out more about supporting the centre financially and head to Volunteering to find out more about how you can join the work to keep the centre at the heart of the Wyke community.
The centre is run by a registered charity and you can find our offical registration on the Charity Commission website at Charity overview, WYKE REGIS COMMUNITY AND SPORTS ASSOCIATION - 283994, Register of Charities - The Charity Commission
